Godless Procession was founded in 2009 in Guadalajara Jalisco, Mexico.
The band is formed by musicians who have been in the city’s Dark Gothic scene for more than a decade, and who have integrated bands of several genres like Gothic Ethereal, Metal and Industrial, (Angelique, Illusions, Nightbreed, Hardware, Non Mortis etc.) their musical proposal which invites to explore and delve into the dark side of the subconscious, has been known through stunning theatrical presentations, in 2011 the homonymous album called “GODLESS PROCESSION” is edited and their first Long Play in vinyl (El Juicio Final Records) with only 300 copies honoring the format which gave light to the most obscure rock masterpieces, their debut album contains 10 tracks and the Photography and design by Scott Neri, in 2013 they are presented nationally under the Carpe Diem Records label with two bonuses and in 2015 with Gothic Music Records in Finland, in 2018 they release the second album titled “LAMENTS” containing 11 tracks and 3 remixes, paintings by Carlos Larracilla edited in CD digipack format in Mexico El Juicio Final Records, with a second edition in Bam Bam Records.
2019 In January the advertising campaign with a duration of one year began at the international level (USA & UK) "Brew the Unexpected: Leaving the Nest" for the company TAZO TEA where GODLESS PROCESSSION is participating with the song YOU TOLD ME SO from the album LAMENTS.

the band has been invited to open shows for: The Sisters Of Mercy, Christian Death, Hocico, DYM, Combichrist, Clan of Xymox, Soft Kill, Ariel Maniki, Corpus Delicti and twice for Peter Murphy, as well as for iconic ensembles of the underground movement, playing in the first four Hell and Heaven Metal Fest editions 2010, 2011, 2013, 2014 & 2022 for The beer festival in Guadalajara in 2013, the Vinylfest 2015, and in El Chopo in CDMX next to various national and international bands like Non Mortis, Mago de Oz, Luna Mysti, Salvador y los Eones, Cemican, Sedicion and Arpa de Aura, Severance, La Bande Son Imaginarie.

The open circle gives form to the symbol of an eye; it represents the contemplation, and the study of all things, as in the Scientific Method. The closed circle represents to the self, as well as the surrounding universe (encircling / encompassing)
